Moussia's Mikvah
We are proud to announce an exciting and vital initiative.
We are working to build a state-of-the-art Mikvah for women, men, and keilim, right in the heart of Niagara Falls. It will serve the Jewish community of the entire Niagara Region – and the tens of thousands of Jewish visitors who come to Niagara Falls each year.
This Mikvah will be located in the Jewish Welcome Centre, providing a warm, accessible, and welcoming space for both locals and visitors. This meaningful project is being established in loving memory of Moussia Zaltzman, A”H.

Moussia's Legacy
Moussia’s Mikvah is a sacred and exciting project being developed in the centre of Niagara Falls.
Currently in the design and planning stages, this state-of-the-art women’s mikvah spa will be located in an independent, discreet, and comfortable setting, thoughtfully designed to offer privacy, dignity, warmth, and spiritual beauty.
The mikvah is being established in loving memory of Moussia Zaltzman, A”H, the beloved daughter of Rabbi Zalman and Perla Zaltzman. Moussia was born and raised in Niagara Falls, where she served as a young Shlucha together with her family until her tragic passing in the summer of 2015.
Moussia’s Mikvah will honour her precious legacy by creating a space rooted in holiness, beauty, and Jewish continuity. It will serve women throughout the Niagara Region, as well as the many Jewish visitors who come to Niagara Falls each year.
Estimated completion is planned for 2027.

Men's Mikvah & Kaylim
The Mikvah of Buffalo has a separate men’s mikvah and a kaylim mikvah.
In order to maintain it, however, it needs to be left as clean as it was found, and there is a charge of $5 USD per person for use of the kaylim and men’s mikvaot.
