Seating
That’s why it’s so important to include all guests (including infants and children who you might not think will sit) in your registration. This helps us prepare properly, prevent potentially awkward moments, and create a warm, welcoming experience for everyone.

All seating is arranged well in advance, so if you’re traveling with another party who is booking separately, please try to let us know at least 72 hours before your visit so we can try and seat you together. Smaller parties without special requests may be matched with other guests to create full tables of 10, which often leads to wonderful new connections. If you're coming with a larger group or have specific seating needs, please reach out as early as possible so we can accommodate you.

We always do our best to honor seating preferences, but please understand that last-minute requests may be more difficult to fulfill. That said, it’s Shabbat in Niagara... you’ll have a meaningful and joyful experience no matter who you sit with!

WE TAKE GREAT CARE TO ENSURE THAT EVERY GUEST HAS A COMFORTABLE SEAT WITH ENOUGH SPACE FOR THEIR ENTIRE PARTY.

Candle Lighting
JOIN US IN THE DINING HALL FOR LIGHTING
Tea lights are provided for lighting Shabbat candles in the dining hall in a safe area every Friday.
Please do NOT light any candles in your hotel rooms. It is forbidden by all hotels and you may be fined.
No Shabbat Keys
PLEASE NOTE THAT SHABBAT KEYS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT OUR PARTNER HOTELS
We can provide magnets to be placed on your hotel room doorpost to prevent the door from locking. Kindly be aware that neither Jewish Niagara nor the hotel is responsible for lost or stolen items. We strongly recommend securing valuables in the hotel safe or making other arrangements with hotel staff to ensure the safety of your belongings over Shabbat.

Niagara Falls Eiruv
Niagara Falls has an eiruv, making it easier for you to enjoy Shabbat with peace of mind. Before booking your stay, please check the map below to ensure your hotel is within the eiruv boundaries. To make it even simpler, partner hotels listed on our site are guaranteed to be within the eiruv, so you can book with confidence and carry on Shabbat without concern.

Policies & Important Information
CANCELLATION POLICY

Until one week prior to your reserved Shabbat, a 95% refund is available (as credit card processing no longer refunds the fees that were assigned to your charge). There will be no refunds after Saturday 11:59 pm of the previous week. All cancellations must be submitted via email to Shabbat@JewishNiagara.com. Voice messages are not considered to have been received. Reservations made within 48 hours of Shabbat are final.
BOOKING POLICIES
Please ensure that your reservation includes all persons joining for Shabbos. If you reserved for 2 adults and did not include your infant (because the infant does not eat), your reservation is incomplete. It is imperative that we know exactly how many people are joining, including infants on laps, etc. we simply need to know for planning purposes. Please ensure that all your family members, with first and last names are included in your reservation to avoid confusion and unnecessary disorder at the onset of the Shabbat meal. Please review your reservation, and if any changes are required, email us ASAP.

UNEXPECTED CHANGES
Our minyanim are generally well attended over the summer months. There have however been times when due to unfortunate circumstances, our program needs to be cancelled or full minyanim are predicted to not be full enough. We will do our best to inform you in advance if we suspect a shabbat program will have lower numbers so that you have options (food delivery to the hotel, rebooking or getting a refund when applicable). We will work with you to help make the best plan possible under the circumstances.
RESPECT & DECORUM
At Jewish Niagara, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to uplift, to connect, and to bring a little more light into the world. We often have a very eclectic group of people from all walks of life, each person adding to the uniqe vibe of Jewish unity many people comment on when they join us for Shabbat. We ask that all guests treat everyone; Hosts, fellow visitors, volunteers, servers, hotel staff and even the curious passerby with kindness, patience, and respect.
Please be especially mindful of parking rules (noted throughout our website), noise levels, and other actions that reflect on our community and on Am Yisrael. In today’s world, every small act of derech eretz helps build something bigger: a Kiddush Hashem that reaches far beyond Niagara Falls.
With warmth, smiles, and shared joy, may we merit to help bring the Geulah just a little closer... one mitzvah and one mentschlich moment at a time.
